How To Get a Student Google Voice Invite Today

Google was offering students access to Google Voice when it was first launched.

Are you a student with a .edu email address?  Google is promising to deliver Google Voice invites to all students, but this should work for teachers too.  Once you apply, expect an invite within 24 hours.

Google Voice is still only available in the United States, so keep that in mind before you go sign-up. How-To sign up?  Simple, just visit the link below and enter your .edu email address. Google will then send an invite to that address within 24 hours.  The account will be the same; the only difference is you’ll get an invite faster!  Enjoy!

Thanks, it’s nice to have a Google voice # to give out to all the people at my school. If I don’t want someone calling me all I have to do is click BLOCK! Bam! Ban hammer executed!

Ah so it worked eh! Cool. I’m not a student (obviously) so I was curious how it worked. How long did it take to get your account?
